Because of our location, the contracted carrier doesn't make deliveries to our house so unless it fits in the mailbox, I have to go to the post office to pick up packages. There's only someone at the package window 1 out of 15 times that I go there. There's usually only two people working the counter and there's a line with people wanting to mail packages. I invariably end up waiting 5-10 minutes to pick up a package that should have been delivered to our house in the first place.
I once had a notice in the mailbox but no package in the post office. They had to find it so I had to make a second visit to the post office to pick it up. I also get notices late, a day after I receive notification that a package had been attempted delivery. I receive the neighbor's mail at times. And the grocery flyers are delivered the day after the sales start.
INCOMPETENT MAIL CARRIERS: don’t receive mail; mail gets delivered to neighbors; say they delivered a package and it doesn’t show up for several days later—I think they do this not to raise any flags. I’m going to ask the people that I buy from if they ship USPS I’m going to find another seller who uses another distribution channel. I’ve made a formal complaint in the past and it improved for several months but soon as October hits all goes crazy again
Missing 2 packages.
Had a great experience today. Very friendly person helping me send a package. They are still having issues delivering mail to the correct addresses, though.
But never does a bill go missing! Constantly get the wrong person's mail mixed in..in a totally different zip code. One package is 5 weeks late and supposedly was delivered. Our mail delivery lady can come between 1 and 5pm. No consistency , and uses her own vehicle . That makes me uncomfortable after knowing all of my birthday cards are missing! Not one made it here. Will be contacting inspector general . Mail theft wherever it took place on the chain Of command is a violation of my rights
Missing 7 Birthday cards from Colorado.
This facility itself is much nicer than other USPS locations and offers most of the same services itself. I personally did not get to speak with the employees much, I just asked about their envelopes and had my question answered quickly. Not a good or bad experience, I'm probably just going with 3 instead of 4 stars because I couldn't get a pen anywhere inside and had to ask a stranger after I had been waiting in line for 5-10 minutes.
